But my journey here wasn’t a simple one—it’s one that’s shaped by resilience, determination, and a deep commitment to serving my community.
With over 20 years of diverse experience as a Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA), I’ve always been dedicated to helping others feel their best. I’ve spent countless hours in medical offices, providing quality care, and working closely with patients to manage their health. However, as I continued to grow professionally and personally, I realized that my true calling was in medical aesthetics—the art and science of skincare. My own struggles with adult acne, weight gain, and hormonal imbalances led me to discover the transformative power of skincare, and it ignited a fire within me to help others achieve their own glow-up.
In 2012, I made a life-changing move to Texas, and with it came a commitment to rewrite my story. At my heaviest, I weighed 502 pounds. Through years of hard work, dedication, and a shift in mindset, I lost 270 pounds and transformed my relationship with food, health, and self-care. Along this journey, I discovered the incredible healing power of skincare and aesthetics—how our skin reflects our inner health, and how we can use treatments to repair, rejuvenate, and restore.
This personal transformation led me to pursue a career in medical aesthetics, where I could combine my extensive medical background with my newfound passion for skincare. I became a Licensed Medical Aesthetician, using advanced technology, organic treatments, and customized skincare plans to help clients feel confident and radiant. I’m proud to offer services that integrate cutting-edge treatments with a personal touch—because I know firsthand how much self-care and self-love can change lives. I’ve faced my fair share of challenges, but they’ve only made me more determined to succeed and help others achieve their own goals.
The Aanjigin Honorarium Program played a pivotal role in my journey, providing the financial support I needed to access advanced training, workshops, and mentorship that allowed me to further enhance my skills and knowledge. I’m deeply committed to giving back to my community and helping others take advantage of opportunities that can change their lives, just as they changed mine.
Today, I’m the proud owner of The Signature Skin Lounge, a mobile spa that brings luxurious treatments directly to your door, as well as a stationary lounge where you can unwind in a peaceful, private setting.
